Allen obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1993. He was admitted to practice in both Georgia and Tennessee.
Allen is a former member of the Georgia House of Representatives, having been elected to 3 terms by the people of the 4th House District of Georgia from 1996-2002.
He is the Judge of the Municipal Court for the City of Varnell, GA.
Allen is married to Melody Hammontree and they have 3 daughters, Harmony, Hannah Grace and Hope.
